How this actually started
YSS didn't start as a five-year plan. It started while working at a restaurant, offering to help out with their Instagram. That led to managing socials for a pub down the road, for minimum wage at first, but the results spoke for themselves and it quickly became clear this was something worth taking seriously.
That clarity led to a decision. Learn more, get better, and build it into something worth charging for. So I did. What followed was years of helping businesses grow their online presence, increase bookings and expand in ways they hadn't been able to before.
Since then YSS has grown into a strategy-led agency working exclusively with service providers. That experience now sits alongside a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising and PR from Birmingham City University, bringing both real world results and formal expertise to everything YSS delivers.
